Its lower boards stolen by scavengers, this sagging, skeletal, abandoned barn continues to defy the elements, standing alone on a frosty, windswept prairie in Alberta, Canada.
Light rain falls on a lone figure crossing Meadows Road Bridge in autumn. The gurgling of the creek and the tapping of raindrops on fallen leaves are the only sounds.
Not sure if this hardworking dinghy on the English coast was awaiting repairs or had been "put out to pasture," but either way it seemed very dignified, even in its decrepitness.
